I sure do like hazy IPAs. I like the tropical fruit notes, and how drinking one is kind of like drinking juice, but then there's that nice hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste to remind you that it's beer. They give you a heady, expansive buzz, and compliment a variety of foods.
The craft breweries that make them come up with clever names and nice art that they put on the packaging. Often, as I'm enjoying my IPA and admiring the art, I can't help but think of a Magic: The Gathering card to go with it. The art usually features evocative imagery or some weird mascot creature so it just comes naturally to my imagination.
Here is the small collection of custom Magic cards that I have come up with so far. I made them using Magic Card Maker. I have included descriptions and links for the IPAs themselves.
More cards may come as I continue to explore the world of craft IPAs. Cheers!
