Blue Zone

"Blue zone" refers to one of the two competing values camps in the culture wars, the one associated with the Democrat party and liberal politics.

Americans falling into this camp believe that Christianity should be expunged from national identity, and support multiculturalism - the idea that a wide variety of religious and moral systems should coexist in society. A belief in tolerance for human moral frailty leads them to support drug and sex legalization, gun control, and the abolition of the death penalty.

Blue zoners are internationalists who favor high taxes and social programs. They also believe that humanity is a threat to the natural environment of the planet and laws should restrict human activity accordingly.
