Ancient Armies

This set represents army types of classical antiquity, from Greek hoplites to Roman legionnaires, Persian cataphracts to Carthaginian elephants. Some of the army types represent mythical monsters, people or gods. Those of this sort which are not "special" have increased production costs, to reflect the idea that the mythical race is reluctant to join in human wars. Specifically, these are the Pegasi, Lions, Amazons, Minotaurs and Cyclops.

The art is mostly modeled after the standard army set (some is directly copied). Missing is a "hero in sandals".
